Air id a mixture of elements….The difference b/w a compound and an element is: An element is one atom, a group of atoms or molecules of the same basic structure such as Oxygen (O2), Hydrogen (H2), Lead (Pb)….. While a compound is made up of different elements that are chemically combined and can be defined by a chemical equation examples are: Sulfuric Acid (H2SO4), Hydrochloric acid (HCl), Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH) and finally a mixture is made up of several elements but the chemical compositions cannot be defined, hence equations cannot be derived for mixtures such as AIR…
