The HID conversion kit is not DOT CERTIFIED in Canada yet. But I personally have been through more than 10 road blocks and drove by polices many times but nothing ever happened. It is because HID is getting more common than in the past, thanks to more new cars come with HID (such as BMW, Audi, Benz, Infiniti and even Acura).
