Yes, Aurotaunical engineering is a good field both for men and women. More number of women are coming in this field for better future and career growth. The earning prospect of this sector is good as well.
We think it is. In fact, we think ALL fields of engineering are good for women. It is true, however, that in some fields women are represented in higher numbers (for examples, Biomedical Engineering and Environmental Engineering); some engineering fields are still much more male dominated (for example, Petroleum Engineering and Marine Engineering). Aeronautical Engineering is somewhere in between – in the United States it is a bit more popular with women than Electrical Engineering (9.1% of Aerospace Engineers are women but only 8.7% of Electrical Engineers are). Aeronautical Engineering is slightly less popular with women in the US when compared to Civil Engineering (see the statistics here). The good news is that many employers understand the need to attract more women to Aeronautical Engineering and in many segments of the indutry the employment prospects for women are excelllent.
