YES! Unless you are going to the Adobe site and downloading the trial version. Any so called “free” version you download from any of a number of sites is a pirated version or illegally copied version. And besides being illegal, you have no way of knowing if it will work on your computer, whether it might contain viruses, and even if it does work, you cannot register it with Adobe which means no support, no updates. Overall a bad idea. If you need a free Photoshop-like program, take a look at The Gimp, GimpShop or Paint.net. These are free, open-source applications very similar to Photoshop. And they are legal to download.
