[GD] – As I told you, we pay attention to any innovation in the Methionine business but I shall not comment on our current or future research programmes. [FEEDINFO] – Is the production of Methionine by fermentation not a more desirable option in the long term for our industry? Such a process would offer greater flexibility in terms of factory location. [GD] – Yes, factories could be located close to sugar sources. But today we have mastered all the technologies required to safely produce Methionine via the petrochemical route.
