Is ADHD a learning disorder?
No. ADHD is a specific psychiatric disorder that can occur with a co-existing learning disorder. Learning disorders do not, in general, improve with medication. Intelligence and ADHD are separate entities. People with ADHD can have a broad range of IQs. Regardless of IQ, most ADHD individuals feel frustrated at not living up to their potential because of the impairments.
