Is Adam and Eves action of eating from the tree of knowledge a symbolization of being ignorant?

It is a metaphor. The whole story is a metaphor. Knowledge of good and evil, is just an implied state of being going from Absolute to Relative existence. For in the highest state of God’s MIND, there is only absolute being. And that means, there are no dualities, only one constant, eternal, singularity. What the eating of the apple represents in a symbolic fashion, is creating the FALSE CONCEPT that there is anything OTHER THAN, ONE BEING. For in highest reality, at the highest level of God BEING, there is only continuity, singularity and ONENESS. To create the idea of something saying it exists when it does not really exist and then to believe in it, is the same thing as creating a falsehood about what really IS BEING. In a relative world it is possible to create and have dualities, like good and evil, right and wrong, light and dark, inside and outside. The problem is validation of those perceptions or values. You cannot and never will, be able to, validate anything outside yourself.
