is active charcoal can cure hepatitis b?

The short answer is – no. There is, at this time, no cure for chronic Hepatitis B. There is, however, a vaccine availabe to prevent getting Hepatitis B, and checking for the virus is a simple matter of a blood test.

The longer answer is that there are two forms of Hepatitis B – chronic and acute. ‘Acute’ is what a person is said to have when they first contract the virus, or carry the virus longer than 6 months. After 6 months, it is ‘chronic’ Hepatitis B. However, most healthy adults will recover from the virus, and in fact will develop protective antibodies against it.

Since a person with Hepatitis B can show no symptoms whatsoever, and in fact appear perfectly healthy, the blood test is needed to determine whether a person actually has Hepatitis B. Treatment options (if any are necessary) should be reviewed and discussed thoroughly with your doctor.
