Is Achieve Planner a CRM (customer relationship management) software like ACT or Gold Mine?
While Achieve Planner does have a Contacts module (Go -> Contacts) that can be useful for simple contact tracking, it is not a full CRM application like Act or GoldMine. If you need detailed tracking of contacts, leads, history, sales funnel, etc., then you should use a CRM application in addition to Achieve Planner.
