I have known people to be happy with them. Not a top brand, but there are a lot worse out there.

no and I would not recommend them to anyone, especially due to their terrible customer support. Im a par time IT Tech and the problems with Acer after 3 years are too numerous to name.

Acer is okay but beware that both of the hinges on my laptop totally locked up and broke off. Its crazy because I have only had it a year!!! No other problems though.
