Is ACDC missing the boat by not selling online with iTunes?
Hi Richard, for me I’d say they’re embracing the ideal of the album, the end to end musical experience of hearing the tracks in the order they were put down and not selling them off a single at a time in a patchwork and disjointed way. Now I’ll accept they may be ‘going in to sin city’ with this possibly selfish approach one could even say they ‘were on the highway to hell’ as far as sales were concerned, but overall this group has been in control of their music for a long time and its good to see them making a stand and making a statement about the full artistic expression of what they do rather than the cameos of the ipod shuffled remix.
