“Bill Walsh has always said that the number one most important thing for a quarterback is accuracy. You could have the strongest arm in America, but if you can’t hit the side of a barn, you aren’t going to help us. That is what is important to us, being able to play catch and move the football down the field. That is a tremendous thing that we have to have in a quarterback, but also, he has to have mobility. The defensive line, at any level, has gotten so good that the quarterback does not have to scramble to make a play, but he has to be able to step away and then make the play.
