Honestly, i don’t consider accountants either. The acct researchers may be considered social scientists, but accounting deals with taxes and budgets (in my opinion)–things that are not scientific in our society. Good luck and best wishes.

I wouldn’t call it a science of either kind. Accounting is usually a branch of business studies, which generally makes it a humanities discipline.
