Accountability is a school level responsibility and the primary welfare officer will be accountable to the school principal. Regions will support schools with accountability as necessary and the Primary Welfare Officer Guidelines (PDF – 502Kb) provide further information for schools regarding accountability of the Primary Welfare Officer Initiative.
