Is access suitable for infirm or disabled visitors?

0

Whilst the majority of the house is on one level, no special provisions have been made to facilitate disabled access. The house is approached at either of the two entrances up a flight of steps. There are 6 steps at the rear entrance to the house for and, one further step onto the front door terrace. Internally the East Wing is higher than the remainder of the house although the West Wing and all communal areas are on a single level. In the garden there are steep steps leading down to the pool however the steps on the path towards the beach are less severe and the pool can be accessed more easily although less directly in this manner. In summary the house should be suitable for an infirm visitor, especially if accompanied, however no facilities have been provided for disabled persons. A wheelchair bound visitor would certainly require the assistance of friends to get in and out of the house as well as to move around outside the property.
