is Accelerated Christian Education a good program ace?
Yes, if it’s used right. I was homeschooled with ACE from K-12, and I loved it! It was really easy for my mom to use, since she wasn’t very educated and I was able to do most of the work on my own. My husband was homeschooled with A Beka, and he would tell you that it’s way better than ACE, but I really don’t know. I’ve been told that ACE students are “dumber” than A Beka students, but that’s just because a lot of ACE students are allowed to cheat when the teacher gets lazy. Oh, I forgot to mention… I went to an ACE Christian school for the last two years of my education, and I saw a lot of students using the curriculum that never learned anything (because they found ways to cheat). It really all depends on how you use it. One of the reasons ACE is really good is because each PACE teaches a character trait and a Scripture memory verse. Biblical principles are a major theme in the curriculum, and to me, that’s very important.
