Is Academic Advising mandatory at KSU?
Academic Advising is mandatory for all First-Year (freshmen), full-time students until they earn 30 hours of academic credit. Entering First-Year students are advised prior to or during First-Year Orientation for the first semester. For the second and third semesters they are advised by either the academic department of their major or First-Year & Undeclared Advising Services.
