No! This is a persistent myth due to the fact that our club directors are both associated with Redwood High School. In reality the goal of AVC is to have a successful volleyball club in Marin county and to compete in club voleyball at the highest level possible. This goal will not be met with only Redwood players. Everyone who is interested is welcome and even encouraged to tryout for AVC.
