Is Ablemarks slower than browser based favorites / bookmarks?

Yes and no. Here’s why. In the morning when you are likely to first open your browser to see your links, yes your browser has to retrieve your links over the web, and this make take a second or two. But later, when you click on your browser’s Home icon to bring up your Ablemarks links, your browser will retrieve them from your PC’s cache memory, displaying them in a fraction of a second, to display 100+ links on your first tab.
