Is Abel Cine Tech noticing more production of the low budget digital indie films?
Clearly. Its hard to say how much it has grown because most of the clients shooting ultra low budget independent projects are doing so with digital equipment that they can afford to own outright, but since so many of new young filmmakers are purchasing these cameras from Abel, were well aware of this renaissance. We do see an increase in higher end independent productions; and for content creation across the board. This includes content for new media, like internet-based industrials, streaming content and in-store content for retail outlets. I notice on your site, www.abelcine.com you sponsor many events for the film community. Is that part of Abel Cine’s direction, to share its profits with the filmmaking community?
