Is abdominal pain during pregnancy normal?
Abdominal pressure, pain and achiness during pregnancy have numerous causes and are not unusual. The degree and type of pain can be a sign that something is wrong. Severe pain, pain that lasts for a few hours without relief, or pain accompanied by fever, vaginal bleeding or contractions is not normal.
