Is ABA only used to teach children with autism?
Behavior Analytic techniques can be applied to any observable behavior a child presents. Although commonly linked to teaching children with autism, ABA is widely used by teachers, therapists, and parents for various behavioral issues present in the typically developing child. Some examples include feeding aversions, disruptive behavior, social skills, classroom maintenance, etc. SERVICES At the South East Center, our goal is to provide families with a comprehensive treatment package, allowing families to get the majority, if not all, of their treatment within one building and among one cooperative staff.
