Is Aaron Johnson really in the real band Stiff Dylans?
The Stiff Dylans does appear to be a real band, although none of their sites on Facebook, MySpace, Bebo, or their record company’s web site appear to have been updated since 2008. The band is described as follows on their Bebo profile: “Formed for a part in the forthcoming Paramount Pictures film ‘Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging’, Stiff Dylans have quickly become a musical force in their own right. The four-piece have spent much of the past few months writing, rehearsing and recording new material that looks set to put them rightfully into their own spotlight.” The only list of band members I was able to find did not include an Aaron Johnson. Apparently, he was a character in the movie, but is not part of the actual band according to their Twitter feed (“& Matt plays guitar. theres 5 of us in the film, but only 4 in real life (no Aaron) Somebody tweet @mattharrismusic and make him feel better”).
