If the NOI is submitted electronically, the system will provide an e-mail confirmation to the certifying official that the NOI was received. EPA will provide separate notification within 30 days whether coverage has been granted or if further review is required. The status of a pending NOI will also be available through the on-line NOI submission system. If the NOI is submitted in paper form, EPA will not provide confirmation of receipt.
