Is a wet and dry vaccum as good as professional carpet cleaning?
Yes you can use a wet /dry Vacuum to clean a carpet , of course it is better to rent a machine , or hire a company to come and do it for you . However it is the cleaning product you use that does most of the work , if you just have some stains wet them down with the carpet shampoo work it in with a soft brush and let it soak in { read the instructions on the bottle } then use the wet dry vac to suck up the cleaner , allow to dry completely then vacuum with your regular vacuum cleaner , it does not do the same job professionals can do with their heavy duty equipment , but it sure saves a lot of money .
