Is a wedge-all the same as a Thunder Stud wedge anchor?
The wedge anchor and the wedge-all are both male style concrete expansion anchors. They both do have subtle differences that make them unique. The Wedge-All® wedge anchors are a non-bottom bearing, wedge-style expansion anchor for use in solid concrete or grout-filled masonry. A one-piece clip ensures uniform holding capacity that increases as tension is applied. The threaded stud version is available in eight diameters and multiple lengths. The ThunderStud® wedge anchor consists of two pieces permanently preassembled into a single unit. The carbon steel rod is threaded for a portion of the wedge anchors length. The extreme end of the threaded portion of the wedge anchor is rounded to protect the threads from damage while the anchor is being driven into the hole drilled in the concrete.
