Is a VW Jetta a good car for me?
I’m an 18 year old girl who will be attending college in the fall. I recently had a wreck and my Ford Contour was totaled so hopefully I will be getting a new car soon. I really like the 2001-2005 VW Jetta, but I was wondering if it’s a good car and hopefully someone can tell me more about them. I will be living at my college, which is in a medium sized city, and will travel home on the weekends to my home, which is about 55-60 miles from school. I need to know if the car is mechanically sound, how the gas mileage is, and other things. Or if it’s just not a good car for me. If you have any other suggestions please tell me. I’m not totally sure of my price range at this point, but I know it’s definitely not over $10k. Thanks so much!
