Is a veterinary technologist a good job?

0

In high school you really don’t need to focus on anything in particular but math and biology and physiology are going to be a big part of the job. You will have to take basic requirements in your first year of college prior to starting in a veterinary technology program. Pay is generally low however if you are picky about where you hire in and choose positions in research or education it will tend to be better. The difference between a technician and a technologist is the type of degree they have. Technicians have an associates degree while technologists have a bachelors degree. It’s only in the last few years that bachelors degrees have been available and they are still only available in limited areas—there are 20 bachelors degree programs in the US.
