While contractors with truck-mounted vacuums will usually boast about the power of their units, there are numerous disadvantages to using them. Truck-mounted or exterior vacuum systems create what could be called an ‘Open System’. In an open system, warm air in the winter time and cool air in the summer is drawn out of the house and due to the negative air pressure placed on the home this air must be displaced by the dust and pollen laden air from outside.
