Is a test using the American English discs valid in determining the security level?
Such a test provides a lower limit on the security. The closer the target language is to the language of the masking disc of the test the better and more accurate the test results. Also it depends upon which American English are used. There are several versions with improvements made to the ones manufactured to according to an earlier formula which we have since improved upon.
