Is a student required to submit a writing sample with the application?

Applicants are required to take the ISEE Test, which includes a writing section. We prefer to receive a sample of a student’s writing from this test, rather than a writing sample with the application. Upper School students are asked to write about their interests and visit during Tour Day.
