No. Many people choose to use a solicitor or GP for sampling but this can just as easily be performed by you at home. However, if you are in the process of having a last will and testament prepared by a solicitor, then you may decide to have have your solicitor perform the sampling on your behalf. Please be aware that the solicitor taking the sample may charge you for this.
