Is a SmartCare Healthcheck an extended warranty?
No. It is a check up. Potential problems will most times be identified in advance, thereby avoiding repairs and downtime. In the first two years of Fisher & Paykel product ownership you will be covered by our standard TWO year warranty, therefore repairs and spare parts are fully covered. Thereafter, for subsequent years of your SmartCare Healthcheck, you will need to pay for spare parts and may need to pay for labour depending on the level of repair required.
