Is a separate licence needed if I manufacture cheese on the same site as my dairy farm?
A dairy farm which has a cheese manufacturing operation on the same site will need to obtain two separate licences from Dairy Food Safety Victoria (DFSV). This is because the dairy farming and dairy manufacturing operations must each have a separate Food Safety Program and the requirements for each will be different.
