Is a scope for a paintball gun accurate?
The scopes and red dots are very accurate its the marker that is not accurate. In paintball it is pointless to have a scope or red dot because paintball markers are not like guns and they do not have nearly the same physics behind them. A paintball is a round object going through the air and it is not going to be that accurate. There is a reason why we don’t use round bullets in our guns anymore, its because they are not accurate enough no matter what you shoot it out of. A red dot looks good on a marker but the marker will not shoot the paint in that exact spot that the red dot shows. It will just give you a general idea of where it will go. Red dots see as far as the magnification will go. They don’t actually protrude a red dot on an object, the red dot sight uses a laser that reflects a dot onto a lens that you can see. Depending on the quality of red dot depends on how it works but most of the cheap ones just shine a dot on the lens. The more expensive ones use more then one lens a
