Honestly; I would never purposely begin a relationship with an alcoholic if it was a dating/possible marriage relationship. I’m from a family where I had to deal with it for years and it was often like dealing with Satan himself! I love/loved the people, but you do get to a point where the daily drama has such a negative affect on your life, you have to make choices you won’t like to.
