Is a refugee passport admission stamp acceptable as a form of work eligibility documentation?
Form I-94 with a refugee admission stamp is acceptable as a receipt for 90 days, within which time the employee must present an unrestricted SS Card together with a List B document, or an Employment Authorization Document. To indicate refugee status, the stamp may include a reference to section 207 of the Immigration and Nationality Act, rather than use the words “refugee”.
