Is a platelet count of 83 low?
yes my wife suffers from this complaint and it isn’t a problem unless she is to cut herself and we have a hard time stopping her bleading she gets it checked every few months and if it really low the doc put her on steriods to bring it back up to an acceptable level when she has had to have an operation in the past she has to take a course of medication and get blood checked prior to her having op once the dentisttook her tooth out nad she was in there 21/2 hrs before the doc could stop the bleeding, dentist was in a right panic but she was fine
