Yes, If a person is vaccinated against Hepatitis B, he/she is not only protected from Hepatitis B but also from Hepatitis D. The virus causing Hepatitis D can cause disease only in persons already suffering from Hepatitis B. In other words, vaccine against Hepatitis B protects from two types of Hepatitis i.e. Hepatitis B and D.
