Is a permit required for an accessory building (storage shed)?
A. Accessory buildings over 120 square feet require a permit. If the accessory building is 120 square feet or less, it does not require a permit. Although a permit is not required for buildings 120 square feet or smaller, they must not be placed in an easement and must meet set-back requirements.
