Is a mobile catering business a full-time commitment?
No. Many successful concession trailer and food cart businesses trade 1-2 days per week at local markets and trading pitches and some caterers choose to just trade at festivals and events working a few days per year on the higher earning events simply renting their catering trailer and cooking equipment for the temporary shows. If you are just starting out in business or even if you are considering retiring with your own mobile food business, the hours you work are ultimately up to you.
