ยง229.168(f)(1) It would only be a violation if the concentration was greater than 200 ppm chlorine and it would be a violation of Item #20 because that concentration is considered toxic, per 21 CFR 178.1010. Concentrations of the chlorine solution can vary, depending on the temperature and pH of the final rinse water. Refer to the chart on page 91 of the TFER. If the concentration was less than was required for the corresponding water temperature and pH, it would be a violation of Item #21.
