I genuinely think you should go with the Mac, and install Windows later on with Boot Camp. I’ve had experience with both Windows and Mac, and I Mac OS X to be much faster, more stable, and a lot prettier to use. There is only one program that I possess that has no good OS X alternative, thus I use Boot Camp with Windows Vista. Macs may cost more, but they are worth every cent.
