Is a long distance relationship the best way to solve commitment issues…?
I’ve been in a long distance relationship for 4 years now. He lives in germany and i’m in California. They take a lot of communication, trust and honesty, if BOTH of you can do that then you are off to a good start. They are really hard work because you don’t get a lot of the physical attention like other relationships. The relationship is based on talking and being able to involve eachother in eachothers lives. We talk about our relationship (future and past), about our lives in general and random stuff. Webcams are a good idea so that you can see eachother online. Letters are good because they are more personal. It also involves some creativity. My bf and i send eachother care packages of small things we collect for eachother. A LDR might be good for you because you have to be commited to someone that you can’t be with, you will appreciate the little things that you do for eachother. Just be sure that it is something you are willing to work at because it does take a lot of work. Talk
