Is a license required to operate two-way radios?
Most small users can’t wade through or won’t be bothered with all the crap associated with licensing. However, per FCC regulations, all radios operating on business band frequencies 1 watt or more require a license. Instructions for obtaining a license are included in every Spirit radio.
