If a few calculations are completed the answer is seen to be an emphatic yes. If there are as few as 30 AS and A Level Modern History students (not to speak of GCSE students) and only one third of the 140 articles related to the three units studied, the cost of each article per student is about 7 pence. This is equivalent to paying under 2 for a 200-page textbook: for 60 students it is equal to paying 1 for a 200-page book.
