Is a lamda sensor & o2 sensor same thing?
yes and no depending on car make some systems have have two sensors on exhaust and some manufacturer call them different thing you could have two sensors on your car like a upstream oxygen sensor and then a down stream oxygen like on some Renault’s and other have two and could call them a lamda sensor for one and a oxygen sensor other but when you are decoding some decoders may call them the same i would make sure you get some info on system of manufacturer you are working on if has two before you change one
