Is a koala bear an endangered species?
First, it is called a “koala”, not a koala bear… and yes it is an endangered species, at least in the declining sense of the word. Koala’s are not officially listed as endangered although their habitat is constantly being threatened by internal (genetic) disease, being eaten (uh huh, they’re tasty treats for many native and introduced wildlife), logging/ land clearance and bushfires in Australia.
