Is a KidShine day camp a suitable alternative for VBS?

0

That depends on YOUR goals for VBS. If you’re looking for a fun, Christ-centered experience for kids, a KidShine day camp might be what you’re looking for. We have found that many “unchurched” families are far more likely to send their children to a performing arts camp than to VBS. Though much of our ministry is with children, we are not “child evangelists” in the traditional sense of the word — there is no “altar call” or pressure to make a decision during our programs or productions. We believe we are called to model Christ’s love and acceptance to every child we meet, to help them discover their unique gifts, and to teach biblical lessons and values through the performing arts. We absolutely desire that each child has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and we think that happens best in the context of an ongoing connection with a local church. Therefore, one of our goals is to provide a means for YOU to develop a nurturing relationship with the children that will last long
