Is a Kiddikins membership necessary?
The purchase of a Kiddikins kit includes a complimentary two (2) year Kiddikins membership. During this time, centres have the opportunity to benefit from the advantages of membership (see What is a Kiddikins membership?).Centres are encouraged to re-new in order to continue to benefit, however, membership is optional. Is a preschool license necessary to offer Kiddikins? Centres are advised to visit their local licensing department regarding licensing regulations. The program is offered like other programs including swimming, skating, or arts & crafts. Centres offering the program in a preschool or daycare environment are required to be licensed by the Ministry of Health. Visit your local Ministry of Health Licensing Office for more details. Who is responsible for insurance relating to a Kiddikins based program? The centre offering the program is responsible for liability insurance.
